THE POHAKU: History at Sutter’s Fort Revisited and Revealed
On Thursday, June 18th, 2026, take another look at the history of Sutter’s Fort from the view of award-winning author Jasmin Iolani Hakes, author of THE POHAKU; a dazzling saga about the generations of women tasked with protecting the history and the place that made them. Join award-winning author Jasmine ‘Iolani Hakes and the Ohana Dance Company for an unforgettable evening emersed in the rich culture forged between the Hawaiian and tribal communities here in Sacramento.
Each ticket includes a copy of The Pohaku, complimentary wine and appetizers. This event will be held at a private home on Thusday, June 18, 2026, 5:00PM – 8:00PM.. Upon ticket purchase, the location of the event will be sent to you by e-mail. Tickets are $125 per person.
